Startup Location: Atlanta, GA

Position Summary:
Responsible for designing user interfaces and interactions for our two main products.

This assignment is expected to be approximately 6-12 months in length.

Primary Responsibilities:
Work with the product designer to design interactions and high-fidelity user interfaces from wireframes and prototypes. Work with the development team to produce graphical assets to be used on our web-based applications.
Work with the product designer to ensure consistent application of the Airbus Aerial branding throughout the product. Assist the product designer with other design related tasks as they come up.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:
BA in Graphic Design or equivalent experience

Experience:
3+ years equivalent work experience designing user interfaces.

3 + years of experience prototyping and designing interfaces using the following...
-Adobe Creative Suite
-Sketch
-InVision
-Other prototyping software (UXPin, Sketch Prototyping, Figma, Avocode)

Preferred:
-Strong interaction design experience in programs like Principle, Framer.js, or Quartz Composer.
-Strong animation skills and experience using programs such as Adobe After Effects.

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
-Portfolio displays a thoughtful consideration of your client's problem space, your approach to addressing the problem, and how your solution met their needs.
-Work reflects an understanding of the basic principles of design.
-Typography
-Color Theory
-Gestalt Principles
-Experience producing graphical assets for use in the development of web-based applications (supporting multiple resolutions, working with SVG images).
-Experience working in a quick-moving environment is key, where fast turn-around of high quality work is the norm.
-Experience working in an environment where diversity of thought and honest feedback are valued.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
