This position will work closely with the engineering team to build high quality software by introducing test strategies and an automation test framework for the front end applications.
-Develop and maintain a comprehensive automation test suite for existing features in the Aerial dData Portal and services platforms.
-Perform integration, functional, and regression testing using manual (where required) and automated methods.
-Identify, isolate, and document defects clearly and concisely.
-Evaluate new features and devise test approaches and alternative solutions.
-Actively participate in requirements gathering, planning, and daily stand-up meetings.
-Engage with the engineering team to define and develop best practices for test automation
-Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field; or combination of education and experience.
1) 3-5 years' experience in the following:
applications development and/or software automation
-automated testing types, tools and techniques
-design and development of automation frameworks and automation testing strategies
-continuous integration tools and processes
-working in an Agile environment
2) Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, etc.
Source Code Management (Github or other).
-Unit, Functional, Integration, End to End Testing
-Experience working in a startup environment
-Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google, etc.
-Experience with testing mapping and charting applications
-Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Strong command of English, written and verbal.
10% Domestic and International
Able to work in the US without sponsorship. US Citizenship or Green Card required.

Work independently and collaboratively to analyze and establish the best automated and manual test strategy for front end applications. Complexity will vary from mid to high.
