Job Description
We are looking for a project management leader to join our team as Manager, PMO. This role manages and directs the work of a Project Management team within UserTesting's Professional Services department. This person will be responsible for developing and scaling our project management function to meet the demands of a growing Professional Services team and ensure delivery excellence across all projects for both customers and internal stakeholders. This person must have exceptional communication skills, excellent people skills, strong business acumen and be comfortable working in a fast-paced business.


*Build out the project management function in our Professional Services organization so that it consistently performs to the highest standards of excellence
*Develop a project management function that works seamlessly across a matrix organization delivering world-class service to customers
*Coach and mentor the Project Management team so they consistently perform to the highest standards across the organization.
*Work to ensure that Project Management best practices are standardized across projects in order to maintain delivery excellence in every project.
*Create a professional development plan for project management team members.
*Ensure that all project management tools are used and optimized for maximum efficiency.
Identify any gaps in the project management tool set and partner with *Operations to correct them.
*Work with project managers to ensure that all projects stay in scope and on schedule.
*Work with project managers to course correct as needed when projects encounter issues.


*Minimum 5 years of experience in customer facing, enterprise level project management in SaaS, digital agencies, or technology consulting
*Minimum 2 years of experience leading a Project Management function within a customer facing organization in SaaS, digital agencies, or technology consulting
*Demonstrated mastery of project management practice in a complex, deadline driven environment.
*Well-developed and effective team facilitation and leadership skills; able to establish cooperative and accountable team environment.
*Experience managing in a matrix organization.
*Experience managing across multiple geographically dispersed offices.
*Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
*Proven ability to recommend and integrate processes to Project *Management function to ensure project management team provides valuable and strategic support for the teams they support.
*Experience supporting sales teams with selling and scoping project work.
*Project management certification (PMP) and /or formal coursework/training in project management strongly preferred.
