Job Brief:

We are looking for experienced individuals who understand the demands of schools when it comes to keeping children safe online and on devices to help us scale our Bark for Schools program. Bark for Schools is available for all K-12 schools in the United States at no cost. As a company, our revenue comes from our Bark for Parents product, and we offer Bark for Schools to schools for free (forever!) as a way to give back to our communities and to help keep our children safer.

Our Education Safety Coordinator represents the Bark for Schools program, supporting our ever-growing base and driving parent sign-ups. You’ll also manage our community of educators, sharing resources while working with Bark’s internal teams to continually develop communications and content.

The Role Includes:

Guiding schools and districts to getting set up on Bark for Schools, handling the sign-up and setup process
Driving parent sign-up campaigns through relationship-building and communication with Schools and Districts
Negotiating, strategizing, and influencing confidently with high-level decision makers in schools as well as parents of students
Giving input in regards to marketing strategy, content, and outreach
Organizing and participate in webinars for educators and parents
Occasionally traveling to schools around the country
Speaking about the impact of products/solutions from the perspective of educational and safety outcomes for a school
Doing some good in the world!


Backgrounds considered: 1) 4+ years experience in representing IT solutions and brands to educational institutions, you are a skilled listener and influencer, understanding the demands of schools like no other, balancing best-in-class, white-glove service with true empathy for your customers mission or 2) 4+ years experience as an educator within a K-12 school, a strong advocate of online safety, passionate about driving educational outcomes with an untapped entrepreneurial spirit and looking to enter the business world
Impassioned about keeping children safe on their devices and in their homes and schools
Familiar with the challenges that educators and communities struggle with when it comes to mobile and personal devices in their classrooms
Obsessed with problem-solving and technically proficient with Microsoft, Apple, and Google solutions
Voracious entrepreneurial spirit and are always looking for creative opportunities for growth to the benefit of all parties
Excellent at public speaking, demonstrations, and chairing meetings
Comfortable handling stakeholders at multiple senior levels
History of developing creative solutions to roadblock observations
Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills
A background check is required for this role
